The locator career is ideal for candidates with good computer skills, a valid driver’s license and a willingness to work independently outdoors. Specifically, locators receive and execute various underground utility locates requests. They go on sites, read and analyze plans, locate the underground infrastructures, mark utility lines, draw sketches on the computer and invoice the customer.

On your own
You excel when you work alone? The locator‘s work is mostly individual. The locator receives his jobs in the morning and completes them in a timely and efficient manner each day.
On the road
You love to drive, and you have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record? Locators spend a lot of time on the road. Qualified locators may be eligible to use a company vehicle.
